Walk a mile in Clayton Kessler’s shoes – a wild Canadian life

In this post we continue our interview series with interesting outdoors people from around the world.

We present to you Clayton Kessler, a Canadian back country man and outdoor blogger. Reading Clayton’s extensive answers brings to mind “boy’s own” adventures of growing up with a life of squirrel hunting, life on the “range”, building log cabins and exploring the fantastic central areas of Canada.

We hope you enjoy the picture Clayton paints of his life and adventures as he continues to enjoy the outdoors around 400km east from Vancouver, home of this year’s Winter Olympics.

How about a bit of background on yourself. Live where? Work where?

Thanks for asking. I will start from…

Who is Frank? Who cares? He does!

Blatant self promotion you ask? Maybe

A story to tell? Definitely

Outdoors or hiking related? Generally

Pictures of blood, cuts and lacerations? Definitely

A really embarrassing display of Aussie slang? Vicariously

From hiking Australia to Explorer
In this post we continue the series of interviews with interesting outdoors people that have inspired us to keep getting into the outdoors!

Louis-Philippe Loncke is a Belgian explorer who discovered hiking in Australia back in 2004. Just in Australia he has over 3000km of walking and an impressive resume of Firsts:

In just 12 days he crossed the entire West MacDonnells National Park…

Walk a mile in Zac Rizzo’s shoes, interview with a White Mountain outdoorsman

In the second of our series of interviews with interesting outdoor bloggers from around the world, we interview Zac Rizzo.

Zac has a terrific blog, White Mountain Wanderer where he shares some great information about hiking in the White Mountains NH, gear reviews, tips and trick, kayaking and fishing.

How about a bit of background on yourself. Live where? Work where?

I live in Manchester New Hampshire, in the Northeast US, about an hour and a half south of the White Mountains. By profession I’m a healthcare recruiter (Headhunter) it’s not my ideal job, but it pays the bills and allows me to fund my more expensive hobbies. (Like exploring)
