Cambodia – here we come!

We are sitting in the transit lounge of Changi airport waiting for our flight to Siem Reap. It has been a very weird 14 hours. At 5pm yesterday ( Monday) Frank realized we were flying out THAT night not the next night.

This gave us 2 hrs to finish sorting out the domestic stuff and pack our bags for a 3 week trip…… Pressure ++++ but we did it and still had time to splash a LOT of cash on duty free stuff ….

So, we are off to Cambodia for 3 weeks of traveling around backpacker fashion. This trip is the least organized we have ever been so the outcome will be interesting. We only have the first 7 nights booked (Siem reap for 4 and Battambang for 3) after that, who know?.

We will try and throw up some articles on our travels and please accept our apologies in advance for any typos or funny looking posts. It is being done on a iPad where Frank is still on a steep learning curve with the blogging program.

Sounds great. I’m off there in October so will be interested to read where you travelled and the hikes you did, if any. Oh, and what the food is like.
    Enjoy!

Thanks everyone – hoping this comment will load on a dodgy connection with a monitor that is acting like it is part of a lightning storm.

It has been terrific so far. Hoping to load a short post with some images next!
